Job Summary:
Air Tractor, Inc. currently has available a full-time position for an experienced CAD drafter/designer proficient in Inventor, Vault, and AutoCAD. Job responsibilities include:
Creation of accurate drawings of aircraft parts, assemblies and installations using AutoCAD
Development of 3D CAD models, assemblies, and layout drawings in Autodesk Inventor
Produce completed layouts and drawings with clarity, completeness, and conformity to standards.
Accuracy of calculations and dimensioning
Identification of design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies
Maintenance of Vault database
Applicant Requirements:
2-year technical degree or equivalent knowledge in drafting with some manufacturing, machines, and equipment knowledge *
~5 years' experience with AutoCAD *
Applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR 120.15)
Preferred Attributes:
Must be organized, an effective communicator and have a strong mechanical aptitude
Experience reading and interpreting engineering and technical drawings
Working experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access Database and Outlook.
Experience with machined parts, weldments, and sheet metal parts
