Senior User Experience Designer – Construction & Engineering
Our team seeks a Senior User Experience Designer to join our global design team. Over the next year, our team will be tackling a range of challenging initiatives. We are putting our customers at the heart of everything we do and we’re relying on your skills to facilitate our product teams’ understanding of our customers’ behaviors, needs, and motivations.

The success of this role requires close collaboration and coordination with product strategy, technical product management, engineering, and the wider design team across the globe. You will use your storytelling ability to communicate ideas for different audiences including sales, consulting, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities:
Planning and conducting research using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods to express the customer problem, understand the business context and measure the success of our products.
Teaming up with engineers to find the best solutions to our customers’ problems.
Explaining your design rationale and goals to engineers, product strategy, technical product management, and others.
Using visual tools such as interactive prototypes, experience maps, user journeys, storyboards, workflows, and wireframes to communicate.
Planning and facilitating workshops to meet customer and stakeholder engagement goals.
Qualifications & Previous Experience:
BA/BS degree in Design, HCI, CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience, or equivalent industry-specific experience.
5+ years of demonstrable industry experience in UX design or information architecture. Experience with visual and interaction design tools.
Salary and Benefits:
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
