The Manager, Medical Information Content is accountable for creating high quality MI content that addresses the needs of customers globally and ensures successful execution of MI content strategy and initiatives. Strong scientific background and medical writing skills are required to ensure high quality MI content that meet the scientific information needs of customers globally for the therapeutic area.
This role collaborates with various stakeholders within and outside MI as well as the US local operating company for creation of MI responses and derivative content.
This role requires engaging/collaborating with people across different geographies globally and from diverse cultural and racial backgrounds. An understanding of the business impact and value of diversity and inclusion is required and this role operates at a global level accountable for creating MI content used globally and specifically for the US market to help inform clinical decision making by health care providers.

- Responsible for authoring Global and US MI content (including response letters and other types of content as needed) by identifying and summarizing complex scientific literature in a simple, accurate and concise manner to help inform clinical decision-making by HCPs.
- Responsible for planning and maintaining a robust MI content suite including launch readiness plans that meets the scientific needs of customers worldwide through partnership with key stakeholders to align with data dissemination plans and incorporate medical insights.
- Represents MI at meetings with key matrix partners.
- Analyzes and applies scientific and customer insights to create relevant content.
- Maintains in-depth product and therapeutic area knowledge.
- Demonstrates expertise in biomedical literature evaluation and medical writing.
- Ensure recurring queries are tracked and identify need for creation of new responses.
- Highly proficient at medical and pharmacoeconomic literature searching with a full understanding of levels of evidence.
- Has a good understanding of evidence requirements in various key geographies so that the content is relevant and applicable.
- Responsible for reviewing derivative content (e.g. slides, infographics, etc.) to ensure it is consistent and aligned with the related MI responses and compliant with relevant review and approval processes.
- Provide accurate, balanced, and up to date scientific content for compendium pathway guidance submissions.
- Demonstrate a high customer focus while managing MI content related escalations from MI Call Centre and/or LOC MI staff.
- Create and/or update reference materials and data on file summaries.
- Seamless ability to engage/collaborate with stakeholders across different geographies globally.
- Robust understanding of the MI systems, processes, and technology to ensure completion of deliverables in a timely manner and contribute to improvement in ways of working and processes.

Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Graduate degree in Life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine (e.g. PhD, PharmD, M.B.B.S., M.D., DDS, DMD)
- 2 or more years of experience in Healthcare/Pharmaceutical Industry
- 2 or more years of experience in medical writing
- Experience in medical information
- Project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- 2 or more years of experience in medical information
- Excellent understanding of global medical functions and medical affairs activities
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communications skills
- Ability to develop relationships based upon trust and mutual respect
