Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 annually (1099 Contractor)

About the Role:

We are a growing HVAC service-based company looking for a highly skilled Marketing Manager to lead and build a remote marketing team. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, meaning you will operate as a self-employed professional responsible for managing all aspects of marketing strategy and execution.

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for hiring and overseeing a team of 8-12 remote specialists across various marketing channels, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, Local SEO, website maintenance, billboards, flyers, and more. You will develop and implement systems to track marketing performance, optimize campaigns, and adjust budgets based on real-time data.

This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to build marketing operations from the ground up. You will work closely with senior leadership, making strategic decisions and reporting directly to the CEO on a weekly basis.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a team of remote marketing professionals specializing in various channels.

  • Develop and implement systems to track campaign effectiveness, ROI, and conversions.

  • Analyze data to make informed decisions on budget allocation and marketing strategy.

  • Manage marketing budgets and adjust spending across different channels based on performance.

  • Provide weekly reports on marketing metrics, conversions, budgets, and planned adjustments.

  • Collaborate with leadership to align marketing efforts with business goals.

  • Research and implement new marketing strategies and technologies to drive growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building and managing marketing teams for service-based businesses, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other home services.

  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, Local SEO, website maintenance, and other digital and traditional marketing strategies.

  • Demonstrated success in running and scaling marketing campaigns with measurable ROI.

  • Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently to achieve objectives.

  • Experience developing systems for tracking and analyzing marketing performance.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage remote teams.

  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and adjust strategies based on performance.

Contractor Status & Work Expectations

  • 1099 Independent Contractor position (not a W-2 employee).

  • Compensation is based on performance and results-driven marketing success.

  • Expected to work 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time to align with company operations.
