Digital Marketing Operations Strategist

is responsible for managing and optimizing key marketing technologies, including CRM, CMS, future-state DXP, and analytics tools like GA4. This role integrates and executes CRM, CMS, and DXP to drive personalization, automation, customer journeys, lead nurturing, and conversions across all digital touchpoints. Additionally, the strategist leads end-to-end digital media campaigns and optimization, leveraging data to improve performance and maximize ROI. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, creative thinking, and technical expertise to optimize performance, streamline operations, and deliver measurable results in a competitive online marketplace. This position is located at the Imon Headquarters in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Digital Marketing Campaign Management Develop, implement, and refine paid media channels (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) to drive demand and online sales, leveraging CRM and CMS/DXP data for enhanced targeting and retargeting. Develop detailed campaign plans working cross-functionally, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources stay on track. Lead email and automation workflow strategies to engage and convert leads. Optimize website content, landing pages, and eCommerce experiences for improved conversion rates, SEO, and UX. Conduct A/B testing across ads, landing pages, emails, and digital assets to enhance performance. Monitor key metrics (CTR, CAC, ROAS) and adjust strategies for better ROI.

Marketing Technology and Integration Manage CRM, CMS, and future state DXP platforms to enhance personalization, automation, and seamless ecommerce and customer experiences Work closely with marketing analytics team on tracking, analytics, and reporting across GA4, CRM, CMS/DXP, and paid media platforms. Ensure seamless data integration and accuracy across all platforms; GA4, CRM, CMS/DXP, paid media channels and internal systems. Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) in tracking and data collection strategies. Own the day-to-day setup and ongoing management and governance for pricing, product listings, promotions, and offers for active campaigns Oversee eCommerce and cart functionality, ensuring frictionless transactions and optimized purchase flows through A/B testing of pricing, product positioning, upsell/cross-sell, add-ons, and bundles to maximize conversions.

Data Insights and Innovation Analyze performance metrics across platforms to identify optimization opportunities. Use data-driven insights to refine segmentation, personalization, and content strategies. Present key findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. Stay current on marketing technology trends, tools, and best practices, and proactively recommend new solutions for optimization and innovation. Identify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline workflows for efficiency across marketing and customer engagement processes.

Requirements We are looking for people with: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in CRM management, digital marketing, and MarTech. Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), GA4, GTM, and paid media management. Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and DXP tools (e.g., Optimizely, Adobe Experience Manager). Strong knowledge of email/SMS marketing, personalization, and automation strategies. Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Strong project management, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
