The
Senior Communications Specialist
will assist with communication channels and cross team knowledge sharing that will support the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Disease (NCIRD). This important role will be part of a project team that will support a system implementation to S/4Hanna migration and will work to ensure organization readiness by aligning people, processes, and technology pre- and post-implementation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five plus (5+) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience. Experience with federal 508 compliance requirements is preferred Experience with S/4Hanna implementation or ERP applications is preferred Experience with Organization Change Management (OCM) is preferred Experience with ERP applications/implementations (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is highly desirable. Experience with OCM is highly desirable.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists with communications strategies including the development of training materials for webinars and accompanying data sheets Develops knowledge articles, scripts and related job aides to populate knowledge base; reviews and updates existing training materials to ensure a match to current functionality and workflows Assists with tracking training materials by creating an internal filing system for future end user reference, including a tracking of all troubleshooting of end user defects and issues Reviews, monitors and identifies scenarios necessitating the development of new strategic and communication tools and initiatives; collaborates with stakeholders to review current OCM activities to provide seamless transition for routine operations when communicating new functionality, project status, project success stories to end users Monitors and plans for preparations for the transition to SAP S/4HANNA; coordinating with training team to identify and address stakeholder issues and concerns Maintains 508 compliance and appropriate clearance on all materials Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and able to handle complex tasks and projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five plus (5+) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
