Job Description
We are looking for a global digital designer to support our client, a luxury beauty brand. This role will work in a hybrid model with several days onsite at our client partnering in cross-functional teams. The global digital designer is a key creative role responsible for developing and executing engaging and on-brand digital design solutions across all global digital touchpoints. This role requires a strong understanding of digital design principles, UX/UI best practices, a passion for creating visually compelling experiences that resonate with the brand's customer, and experience in directing photoshoots for digital content. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative and creative individual with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative digital design work.
Digital Design Execution:
- Design and execute high-quality digital assets for the brand's global website, e-commerce platforms, email marketing campaigns, social media channels, digital advertising, and other digital platforms.
- Ensure all designs are consistent with the brand identity, visual guidelines,and overall marketing strategy.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly designs that enhance the customer experience and drive engagement.
- Develop and maintain design templates and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital channels.
UX/UI Knowledge:
-Collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers to create intuitive and seamless user experiences.
-Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and optimize user flows.
-Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends and best practices.
Collaboration and Communication:
-Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, e-commerce, social media, and development, to ensure design alignment with overall business objectives.
-Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, effectively communicating design rationale and gathering feedback.
-Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Innovation and Trend Awareness:
-Stay informed about emerging digital design trends, technologies, and best practices.
-Proactively identify opportunities to innovate and improve the brand's digital presence.
-Contribute to the development of new digital design concepts and strategies.
Asset Management:
-Organize and maintain digital asset libraries, ensuring easy access and proper usage of all design resources.
-Adhere to file naming conventions and version control procedures.
Photoshoot Directing:
-Plan and direct photoshoots for digital content, including product shots, lifestyle imagery, and social media assets.
-Develop creative concepts and mood boards for photoshoots, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
-Collaborate with photographers, stylists, retoucher, and other creative professionals to execute photoshoots effectively.
-Oversee the selection and editing of final images for use across digital channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor';s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital design, preferably in the beauty, fashion, or luxury goods industry.
- Proven experience designing for e-commerce platforms, websites, email marketing,social media, and digital advertising.
- Experience directing photoshoots for digital content.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD (a plus).
- Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing a range of digital design projects, including examples of photoshoot direction required.
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing is a plus.
Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
