GEICO is seeking a

Senior Manager of Performance Media . This individual will be an integral part of GEICO’s performance media team which is comprised of an internal paid search team that develops and executes paid search campaigns but also oversees a paid media agency for other paid media channels (e.g., programmatic display and social media). This individual will develop, execute, optimize, and report paid search campaigns while simultaneously coordinating with the paid media agency to drive profitable business growth. This role requires the agility to go hands-on keyboard and manage complex campaign execution. Collaboration and confidence will be critical to the success of this role. Our marketing organization is rapidly evolving and integrating new functions – so it’s important you are comfortable with a high level of interoperability across various internal and external teams to produce solutions as well as developing new methods. This role reports into the Sr. Director, Performance Marketing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee cross-channel paid media performance across both in-house and external agency teams for lower funnel activities. Develop and execute comprehensive PPC / paid search strategy for GEICO and individual lines of business, to drive profitable growth, improve quote completion rates, and grow efficiency in cost per new business metrics. Manage and hold accountable paid media agency across consideration and conversion funnels for all non-paid search channels, such as social and programmatic display. Build a culture of high velocity testing and diligent measurement that will improve efficiency and efficacy, and generate scalable results. Develop a KPI-based learning agenda to assess paid media performance over time. Perform ad-hoc, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses pertaining to line of business performance, historical trend analysis, brand demand, and competitor insights. Derive data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and content performance drivers across paid activity on YouTube, TikTok, Meta, Snap, and Pinterest. Drive continuous performance improvement through optimization of performance tactics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Analytics, and Media Strategy & Planning, to align goals with business performance objectives. Stay updated with evolving paid search best practices and algorithm changes. Report into the Senior Director of Performance Marketing. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree. 7+ years of experience in PPC and digital marketing. Mastery of SA360 and Google Ads (AdWords). Experience with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Pinterest, Snap, TikTok, etc.). Proficiency in Google Analytics. Performance marketing mindset to work toward goals and targets. Strong analytical skills for keyword research, data analysis, and performance tracking. Exceptional leadership and management capabilities to oversee team members and agencies. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration and reporting. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with large enterprise budgets. Agency experience. Incrementality measurement experience. Previous experience in broader marketing roles or traffic acquisition. LOCATION: Our department’s hybrid model is 3 days in the office per week, with flexibility. Corporate offices are in Chevy Chase, MD; Manhattan, NY; Chicago, IL; Cleveland, OH. Annual Salary $108,650.00 - $189,625.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
