Base pay range $30.00/hr - $36.00/hr Are you a skilled communicator with a passion for creating impactful and engaging content? A leading nonprofit organization is seeking a temporary Content Editor to oversee standards and best practices for its messaging and content. In this role, you’ll ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with the organization’s voice and brand, contributing to its mission of making a positive impact. If you’re an expert in grammar, editorial style, and content strategy, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss! Key Responsibilities: Review and edit content to ensure it meets high standards for quality, consistency, and accuracy. Collaborate with team leaders and colleagues to create innovative solutions and efficient workflows for content production. Maintain and manage the organization’s editorial style guide, acting as a resource for grammar, voice, and tone. Ensure factual accuracy and alignment with organizational messaging, identifying and addressing gaps or errors. Assist in crafting compelling content for various platforms, including articles, presentations, emails, social media, and more. Contribute to strategic discussions around messaging and tone, fostering relationships with internal and external partners. Coordinate timelines and deliverables for content creation, editing, and publication, ensuring projects are completed efficiently. A team player who builds positive relationships and works effectively across departments. Tech-savvy. Proficiency with digital tools, including email platforms and presentation software, is a plus.
