Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr An opportunity has arisen to join an industry leading, prolific design firm in Los Angeles. Widely acknowledged as industry leaders in high-end, luxury interiors, often incorporating bespoke furniture and unique lighting fixtures to create stunningly bespoke environments. We are working closely with this studio to recruit a highly creative and experienced Interior Designer who will contribute to the team's success while enjoying exposure to a variety exciting projects. This role demands a meticulous approach and a passion for crafting exquisite environments within luxury hospitality and high-end residential settings. Imagine yourself working alongside a talented team of architects, designers, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers, collaboratively designing and delivering truly impressive interiors. Your contribution will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, spanning from conceptualization and design development to the meticulous management of small-scale projects and/or pivotal sections of large-scale projects. You will possess a strong managerial aptitude, with experience in cultivating and mentoring junior designers. Your essential skills encompass a profound understanding of the full design lifecycle, from concept to construction and installation. You will be responsible for material sourcing, detailed specifications, bespoke furniture design, and visual research. Competency presenting designs through compelling graphic visuals is crucial, alongside proficiency in maintaining meticulous project budgets and timelines. Your responsibilities will also include project documentation, including detailed specification writing, schedule management, and expert construction administration. This includes proficient navigation of submittals, Request for Information, Architectural Submittal Instructions, design specification reviews, and coordinating with consultants. You will be an industry professional with somewhere between 4-8 years of experience in interior design (with a strong FF&E bias) equipped with a degree (architecture or interior design) from an accredited institution. A keen eye for detail, coupled with the ability to hand-sketch and render designs, is imperative. You will demonstrable ability to confidently leverage AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office Suite for design tasks. Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Enscape would be an additional advantage, while a LEED accreditation would certainly enhance your profile. Finally, exceptional communication skills, the ability to collaborate seamlessly, and an openness to design exploration are imperative.
