About the Position: This role is an on-campus, in-person position. The Graduate Admissions team at the SMU Cox School of Business is responsible for recruitment, admissions, yield, and retention for an entire suite of 13 graduate programs (MBA, MS, and Working Professionals programs). This position is responsible for creating and managing strategies for both marketing and operations across the Working Professionals and Full-time MBA and MS Graduate Admissions sub-teams. Essential Functions: Manages the greater admissions marketing strategies of all graduate programs in collaboration with the central Cox marketing office. Ensures consistent messaging and develops strategies across programs and channels, including print collateral, web, social, video and email. Creates Standard Operating Procedures for admissions operations, event procedures, Slate usage, etc. Manages selection of and onboarding/implementation of new vendors and cross-team training of these tools. Manages the lead cultivation strategy and outbound calling and texting process through management of the staff and contract workers who oversee the lead calls and nurture. Qualifications: Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of six - seven (6-7) years of work experience; preferably in university admissions and/or marketing/sales. Two - three (2-3) years of supervisory experience is required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong Project Management and operational process documentation abilities. Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills. Candidate ability to learn new technology tools is a must. Candidate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet and email communication systems is essential.
