Position Overview The Director of Government Relations will lead and manage Constanellis Aerospace’s engagement with federal, state, and local government agencies. This role involves advocating for the company’s interests, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and policy requirements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of government processes, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes. Key Responsibilities Government Engagement:

Establish and maintain relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and industry stakeholders. Act as the primary liaison between Constanellis Aerospace and government agencies. Policy Advocacy:

Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments impacting the aerospace and defense sectors. Develop and execute advocacy strategies to support the company’s goals and initiatives. Strategic Partnerships:

Collaborate with government and industry partners to advance programs and secure contracts. Represent Constanellis Aerospace at industry events, conferences, and government meetings. Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including FAR, ITAR, and export controls. Prepare and submit required reports, filings, and documentation to government agencies. Internal Collaboration:

Work closely with executive leadership, legal, and operations teams to align government relations strategies with company objectives. Provide guidance on government-related risks and opportunities. Qualifications Proven experience in government relations, public policy, or a related field, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry. Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, defense contracting, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain high-level relationships. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful advocacy campaigns. Knowledge of compliance requirements, including ITAR, EAR, and other government regulations. Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, law, or a related field (Master’s or JD preferred).
