We’re looking for a creative and collaborative
Graphic Designer
contractor to support our marketing team and elevate our visual brand. Please note, this is a contractor role with no current opportunity for permanent employment.

As a Graphic Designer at Muck Rack, your mission is to help us maintain and elevate our visual brand across a variety of projects. You’ll work closely with our Marketing team to create high-quality digital assets, including social media graphics, marketing collateral, event branding, and website elements, ensuring all designs align with our brand identity and strategic goals. What you’ll do:
Develop digital assets for Muck Rack’s content channels including the Muck Rack Blog, website, newsletters, social channels, and more. Match existing brand style to create new vector illustrations. Create slide deck presentations for virtual and in-person events. Execute and help maintain Muck Rack’s style guide across channels and assets. How success will be measured in this role:
Creation of high quality and on brand visual assets. Ability to hit agreed upon deadlines. If the details below describe you, you could be a great fit for this role:
2+ years of digital graphic design experience. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite. Experience designing slide decks, ebooks, social media visuals and other content marketing assets. Comfort with building on an existing visual design library. Illustration skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with Figma a plus. Experience developing data visualizations, including complex graphs, a plus. Experience working with a marketing team and/or in SaaS industry experience a plus. Video production skills a plus (Premiere Pro, Camtasia). Interview Overview Below you'll find an outline of the interview plan for this role. Please note that this is what we expect the process to look like; we may ask you for supplemental information or require an additional step before making a final decision. 30 min interview with a member of our Talent Team. A 1 hour zoom interview with the hiring manager. Portfolio presentation of a project of your choice. A final interview with several team members. Salary In the US, the starting pay for this role is between $30-40/hour depending on skills and experience. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location. For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate.
