As a Content Marketing intern, you will work closely with the Content Team and contribute to the 2025/2026 content strategy for Atlantic Health System. The content strategy includes ongoing communication to our consumers about health topics they care about from nutrition and recipes to heart health and pregnancy. Content also supports overarching marketing messaging, including but not limited to system priorities, health observances and integrated campaigns. The intern’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct research on trending health topics via social media platforms and brainstorm ways AHS can be a part of the conversation

  • Lead keyword research for content development

  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Analytics to analyze content data and reporting

  • Work on a content migration project

  • Actively participate in the content creation process from ideation to interviewing experts to proofreading articles

  • Collaborate with other departments within marketing to help facilitate content creation and distribution, including but not limited: web, email, creative, social, etc.

  • Attend meetings with the content team and integrated marketing

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a public or private College/University, and be in good academic standing at their institution

  • Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2025 - August 2025

  • Must be committed to work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship

  • Must be a US Citizen/Permanent Resident

  • Ideally pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, English or a related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Good research and analytical skills

  • Detail-oriented, organized proactive and able to manage multiple projects at a time

  • Good time-management skills and be able to prioritize

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Powerpoint
