Description The studio of NICOLEHOLLIS is looking for a talented, creative and proactive Production Designer to join our team. Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and likes to contribute their own big ideas to the mix. You have an affinity for content creation, both in graphic design and short form video media production. The Adobe Creative Suite is your main set of tools with proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat. Your experience spans both web and digital platforms, such as social media and website creation. Experience with professional photography is preferred. You possess excellent typography, layout and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively. You are self-motivated to carry design concepts through to final production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES DESIGN & PRODUCTION (70%) Initiate brand components and guidelines across all existing communications
Develop and produce graphic and video materials in various forms such as physical, digital graphics, print, video, motion graphics, and/or photography format
Ability to develop and implement a corporate social media strategy on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook. Design and produce engaging social media content
Produce and maintain all internal digital document and presentation templates
Produce and support Retail department in developing products, brand, photography, web design and development
Prepare all image files for digital and print use, including retouching, file naming and sizing according to studio art direction
Work with Director to develop, design, implement, refine and produce creative concepts/solutions through final execution
Ensure all electronic files are built responsibly (smallest size, proper naming conventions, error free); conduct pre-flight quality checks on all source files
Support Director to research and supervise pre-selected/approved creative resources (printers, illustrators, photographers, etc.)
Understand basic print production process and different printing techniques (lithography, letterpress, embossing, engraving, etc.)
Maintain expertise in appropriate and latest design and production software (Adobe Creative Suite, Video Editing software, basic HTML capabilities, etc.)
Ability to adapt to fast-paced industry trends and needs
Help organize, monitor archives, and maintain files on the server
MARKETING (10%) Resize, retouch, and prep photos for presentations, award submissions, etc.
Help Director produce speaking presentations for conference and market appearances
Assist as needed with advertising design and marketing materials
Monitor and update company website as necessary. Tasks include: uploading prepared portfolio images and updating text content
CLIENT & PROJECT MANAGEMENT (10%) Coordinate with Program Director and Operations Director on issues related to adhering to and monitoring of project budgets, schedules and scope of work/revisions
GENERAL STUDIO RESPONSIBILITIES/ADMINISTRATION (10%) Attend and contribute honest input during performance reviews to ensure your own professional development and define and understand yearly and quarterly personal goals
Enter all hours (billable and non-billable) daily and accurately in time-keeping system
Participate in marketing and staff meetings
Contribute to environment that is efficient, professional, proactive, and team oriented
QUALIFICATIONS, CORE COMPETENCIES, & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS Proficient with technology, Microsoft Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, (Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects are a plus)
Basic to Intermediate HTML capabilities
Awareness of and experience with social media
BS/BA degree, ideally a Graphic Design, or commensurate experience with at least 3-6 years of Graphics Design experience
Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position will be working in a typical office setting, with no extremes in temperature or lighting

Ability to lift 25lbs and transport items in and out of vehicles. Ability to work on feet/run errands for 4+ hours per day as needed. Ability to sit at a desk for 6+ hours per day
