Job Description:

My client is seeking an experienced PCB Designer to be part of a dynamic team. As a Designer, you'll be responsible for all phases of creation and management of the printed circuit design front-to-back process, including leading or assisting on projects containing multiple PC Boards. You will utilize the latest in Cadence software suite of tools, along with MCAD models and transfers. You must have the ability to communicate and cooperate with multiple engineering groups: Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing. You will be an integral part of a team of PC board designers working in the Production Engineering Division and serving all business units at the company.


Required Qualifications:

  1. Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical-Mechanical Engineering Technology or 5 to 10 Years Industry Experience as a PC Board Designer.
  2. Cadence Allegro PCB Editor V17.4 or newer
  3. Cadence Concept and HDL Schematic Capture
  4. Experience with Cadence Constraint Manager
  5. Allegro System Capture V17.4 or newer
  6. PDM tools for release of design.
  7. Ability to work well with a diverse group of dedicated professionals
  8. Good communication skills to work with both internal and external engineering teams.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Cadence SigXP, Power Integrity or 3D modeling
  2. Siemens Nx V11 or newer MCAD
  3. Programming experience in scripting, Allegro Skill, AWK, Perl or other programming languages
  4. Understanding of industry and IPC standards for PCB Design & Library structure
  5. EDA/EDM – Allegro PCB Librarian & Manager V17.4 or newer
  6. Understanding of Cadence and EDA License servers
  7. Altium Designer System Engineering
  8. PTC Windchill
  9. Knowledge of PCB documentation standards (e.g. IPC-D-325A)
  10. Experience in medical device development
