Graphics design touches everything from ATM wraps to mobile applications. The Graphics Designer II is responsible for successful delivery of visual designs and design assets to support a variety of platforms, mediums, and devices.
Key Responsibilities: • Create mockups based on wireframe and specifications from interaction designers. • Produce visual assets, graphics, icons, etc. to support development of mobile applications, websites, and print media. • Deliver high quality design documentation which may be leveraged by development. • Work closely with developers on agile projects to ensure a high-quality polished product is delivered. • Develop campaign marketing materials including: digital signage, social media assets, customer e-mails, direct mail, website assets, etc. • Effectively communicate design to a broader audience outside the design team. • Ensure adherence to brand standards and consistency across the organization. • Closely review and monitor designs to ensure continuous improvements are made and design assumptions are adjusted based on feedback. • Assist UX designers with deliverables for print, product, and web. • Perform other job related duties or special projects as assigned.
Competencies Required: · Advanced knowledge of design software including the Adobe Creative Suite (examples of previous work required). · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications. · Possesses high levels of creativity with a working knowledge of the latest design trends. · Must be both a strong individual contributor and a flexible, adaptable team player. · Customer-focused and problem solving mindset with the ability to effectively provide design solutions that meet cost and time constraints. · Ability to effectively contribute to multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Working knowledge of ADA accessibility guidelines for visual design, and image optimization for device and screen size. · Understanding requirement for creating deliverables for small and large scale print. · Strong understanding of visual design principles and the use of form, typography, texture, color, shape, whitespace and lines.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience: · 2 years of Graphics Design experience or a combination of education and experience.
Formal Education & Certification: · Undergraduate degree with specialization or focus in Graphic Design preferred.
Work Status: · Full-Time.
Supervisory Responsibility: · None.
Travel: · 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.
Working Conditions: · Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
