OVERVIEW

Church at the Cross is excited to announce its Spring Internship Program! This internship will help spread the gospel throughout Central Florida through the ministry of CATC. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the areas of social media, graphic design, photography, videography, and copywriting. This is a great opportunity to serve in a fast paced, growing ministry.

  • Self-motivated, self-directed, but also willing to work with others
  • Embrace change and can adapt quickly with a “whatever it takes” attitude
  • Able to figure it out, follow through, and get it done
  • Strong ability to relate to all staff with compassion, humility, and confidence

  1. RESPONSIBILITIES
  2. Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, TikTok).
  3. Schedule and post content using our social media management tools.
  4. Monitor trends and suggest creative engagement strategies.
  5. Create behind-the-scenes content to enhance storytelling and engagement.
  6. Clip and edit impactful moments from sermons
  7. Support recording, editing, and producing video content for promotions, testimonies, and event recaps when needed
  8. Assist with data entry and media organization
  9. Brainstorm and contribute new ideas for content, campaigns, and audience engagement.

General Expectations:

  • A teachable and an enthusiastic learner.
  • Maintains flexible working hours as determined by the needs of the ministry.
  • Attends regular church, school, and team staff meetings as required.
  • Utilize task tracking and capacity management system.
  • Begin and end projects within reasonable timeframes and communicates needs.
  • Proficient with current technology and communication tools.
  • Aligned with organizational vision, goals, values, and policies.
  • Works well with others and within a team environment.
  • Must pass a fingerprint background check.

This position is expected to be on campus Sunday from 8am-12:30pm, and at least 2 other days Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm. Plan on working 15-20hrs per week. This is a 12-week unpaid internship.
