Manager, CPG Ads & Promotions - Strategy & Operations
About The Team
Our Advertising & Promotion team operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, surfacing and monetizing relevant content that benefits our core audiences. We’ve built a retail media network that enables CPG advertisers to easily reach DoorDash audiences and drive sales and category growth. This role will be responsible for the strategy and execution across one or more of our ads products and the overall advertiser experience.
About The Role
You will report into the Director of Go To Market on our CPG team in our Ads Strategy & Operations organization. In this role, you will:
- Shape the advertiser-facing experience for our Ads Manager platform alongside cross-functional partners
- Inform the product roadmap based on data-driven insights and advertiser feedback
- Lead go-to-market support on new product and feature launches
- Leverage data to monitor and optimize product performance to achieve advertisers’ objectives
- Deliver against financial, advertiser performance, and consumer targets
- Support sales enablement, including GTM processes, pitch collateral, reporting and benchmarking
- Partner with PMM, Sales Marketing, PR, and B2B Marketing on driving awareness and growth of our overall Ads business
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Can…
- Speak CPG: You know what makes CPGs tick, from global enterprise manufacturers to emerging brands, and how to build ad solutions that drive growth.
- Build: You’re not afraid to try something new. You enjoy going from 0 to 1 - and can help scale products and processes past proof of concept.
- Problem Solve: You like diving into ambiguous problems. When given an ambitious goal, you enjoy thinking about and tracking towards the milestones necessary to get there.
- Balance: You can toggle between the tactical and the strategic based on the task at hand. You’re not afraid to get deep into the weeds.
- Partner: You love collaborating with other teams, across internal stakeholders and external advertisers. You are able to take feedback and put it into action and can balance multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities.
- Communicate: You have strong communication skills and are able to distill complex messages to multiple audiences.
We’re Excited About You Because…
- You have 6+ years of experience in ad tech, retail media (strongly preferred), ecommerce, or digital marketing.
- Must have experience with ads ecosystems and experience working with CPGs
- Proven track record of leading revenue-driving projects, working cross-functionally with product and sales, and delivering on results
