Our car dealership team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software, and their electrical systems expertise. Responsibilities:

  1. Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships.
  2. Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics.
  3. Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems.
  4. When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes.
  5. Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs.
  6. Install, wire, and troubleshoot aftermarket car audio systems, amplifiers, speakers, and subwoofers.
  7. Work with advanced technologies such as integration processors, backup cameras, and vehicle security systems.
  8. Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical systems and components.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure top-notch service quality.
  10. Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications:

  1. Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  2. Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associate's degree is a bonus.
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills are necessary.
  4. National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired.
  5. Previous experience in car audio installation or related fields is preferred but not required.
  6. A solid understanding of vehicle electrical systems and wiring.
  7. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  8. A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  9. A valid driver’s license.

Compensation:

$12 - $16 hourly
