JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop and write engaging and persuasive copy for email marketing and online content for etail and ecommerce, including product descriptions, landing pages, and promotional materials.
- Create compelling email marketing content that drives customer engagement, retention, and calls to action.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and ensure that all copy aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Work with key stakeholders to conduct research on target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscape to create content against provided tasks and strategy.
- Work with SEO lead to optimize content to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to our website.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in SEO, email, digital marketing, and e-commerce.
Required:
- Proven experience in copywriting, preferably within email communication and online/digital content.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in writing commerce web content and email marketing copy.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and experience with keyword research tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a knack for persuasive writing.
- Experience working with consumer products within the manufacturing space.
