MSPCC, a division of Eliot, is currently seeking a Multimedia Design & Social Media Associate. Proficiency with Canva, InDesign, WordPress, and Zoom and/or other virtual meeting platforms required. Our ideal person would have an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks accurately and effectively within deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and a solid working knowledge of computers and MS Office. Proficiency with Canva, InDesign, WordPress, and Zoom and/or other virtual meeting platforms required.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks accurately and effectively within deadlines.
- Possess sensitivity to others, tact, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work with volunteers and donors in a friendly and professional manner and ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- In coordination with the Associate Director of Communications, implement a strategic plan and calendar to increase awareness of MSPCC and Eliot through communications, public relations, and branding.
- Create and update the graphic design and layout of MSPCC- and Eliot-branded collateral materials that support various agency programs and departments, including brochures, flyers, invitations, newsletters, emails, etc.
- Create and maintain the agency’s social media content calendar.
- Plan, draft, and schedule social media posts. Generate and post engaging content through a combination of static posts, videos, and stories across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter/X.
- Produce and edit video vignettes for social media.
- Identify new opportunities for storytelling.
- Monitor social media activity and provide monthly analytics on engagement, identifying areas of improvement/growth and supporting tactics to drive reach.
- Maintain Eliot and MSPCC websites, consistently refreshing content and posting timely updates. Produce monthly analytics for websites and e-blasts.
- Manage collaboration with external graphic designers.
- Support the development department in the creation of marketing materials for events and fundraising appeals.
- Coordinate Zoom webinars for outreach needs.
- Serve as the Eliot and MSPCC brand manager to monitor and ensure brand guidelines are consistent.
- Write and edit other projects as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Location: Lexington, MA
