Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner - Atlanta, GA (Midtown)

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues to join our medical practices in Midtown Atlanta, GA. Our ideal candidate is comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections, so the incoming candidate must have experience with those types of procedures.

We have a dynamic, well-educated team of medical professionals including physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and amazing support staff.

Duties:

• Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging)
• Order and review tests/labs (MRIs, NCVs, etc.)
• Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
• Patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, rehabilitation/exercises, and various modalities
• Manage patient care
• Treatments - perform trigger point and joint injections
• Prescribe physical therapy and/or chiropractic care as needed
• Prescribe medications as necessary for pain and treatment (no narcotics prescribed)
• Documentation and progress notes – daily, timely, and accurate
• Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plans

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) program
• PA/NP license in GA
• Orthopedic, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or Pain management background is preferred
• Experience with trigger point and joint injections preferred

Schedule:

• Full-time Monday – Friday (Friday hours end at 1 PM)

Compensation:

• $120k - $140k (DOE)
