Senior Manager, Workday Functional Lead (Remote)

JOB & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Program lead Workday suggesting enhancements, evaluate new functionalities and trends (e.g. AI) and delivery of high-quality functional Workday solutions.
• Partner with key business leads at the global level in order to enable the new software capabilities.
• Partner with vendors and contract management.
• Large scale program management & business change management. Accomplish project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities requirements gathering, documentation.
• Executive management presentations, communications, and issue resolution.
• Ability to drive new solutions - define & document, participate in workshops, etc.
• Develop functional specifications and development specification documentation, documenting requirements associated to change requests and connect requirements with use cases.
• Regression and smoke tests to validate enhancements, configurations, Business Processes, Workflows develop.
• Ability to partner with a wide variety of very senior leaders, DT leads, developers, testers, and other resources required to implement and support solutions.
• Ensure technology adoption and realization of benefits. Ensure proper operation and support models in place for all new implementations.
• Budget and cost control.

Qualifications :

• Workday implementation experience (10+ years): 10+ years experience in gathering requirements, design, prototype, and testing of Workday functional solutions according to customer requirements leveraging the following Workday modules: Human Capital Management, Workday Learning, Workday Recruiting, Workday Projects, Workday Extend, and Cloud Connect for Third Party Payroll and Learning.
• Demonstrated history of orchestrating Workday implementations.
• Large Scale Program / Project management skills (10+ years) and extensive experience in driving comprehensive Software implementations.
• Ability to organize, hire, manage, and train a team of employees and contractors – onshore, nearshore, offshore.
• Ability to partner with a wide variety of leaders at all levels of the organization, DT leads, developers.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple vendors and global partners.
• Business analyst skills.
• Ability to drive tasks to closure: Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills that incorporate a strong attention to detail as well as the identification of priorities and actionable paths.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, and consensus-building skills to surface appropriate strategies, solutions, etc. when engaging with colleagues, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
• Excellent group facilitation and communication skills to develop relationships and lead complex working sessions, discovery and design workshops, meetings, and executive-level discussions with clients and colleagues.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field +7 years experience.
• Masters +5 years.
• Certified Workday Professional is a plus.
