What will you be doing?

  • Perform Customer and Stakeholder Research: Collect customer data and feedback via a variety of UX research methods, including moderated and unmoderated User Interviews and User Tests (Prototype and Competitive website Usability Testing, Tree Testing, Card Sorts, etc.), Contextual Inquiries, Journal Studies, and surveys.
  • Represent the Voice of the Customer: Analyze, synthesize, and distill research data into actionable insights and clear next steps. Prepare and present research summaries and findings to Stakeholders and partners, working passionately to build customer empathy and understanding across the organization.
  • Mentorship: Coach, guide, and influence Junior Researchers, UX Designers, and additional Optimization team and eCommerce partners to build customer empathy and research skills across the Digital teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Leverage deep knowledge of customer behavior to support Optimization, eCommerce, and Leadership teams in shaping a research-driven Product Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap.
  • Grow our Research Operations: Build and sustain a robust research practice by continuous evaluation of processes, methodologies, and ways of working and applying learnings to improve our Research Ops and tools.

Qualifications that make you the perfect fit!

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent UX or research certifications.
  • 4-6 years of experience doing User Experience research in a corporate or agency environment (eCommerce experience a plus) required.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, oral, and presentation, with the ability to concisely and persuasively communicate research findings and evoke user empathy.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical, and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with mixed research methods - both qualitative and quantitative - with a focus on more strategic research.
  • Deep understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of different research methods, including when and how to apply them, and why.
  • Experience leading a small research team or Research Program and developing Research Operations to support overall Digital maturity.
  • Proficiency in User Feedback tools and platforms such as User Testing, Userzoom, Maze, etc., required. Experience with behavioral analytics and VOC platforms such as Quantum Metric, Pendo, Qualtrics, Medallia, and Microsoft Office are preferred. Experience with a content management system, Figma, Adobe Analytics, Sitecore, and Miro are nice to have.
