City of Springfield is hiring: Video Producer in Springfield

The City of Springfield's Public Information and Civic Engagement Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Video Producer. This position will perform technical and creative work coordinating and producing quality video programs and assists city departments and outside organizations with video production needs. Assists in the operation of the Master Control system for the City's Government Access Cable Channel.

Experience, Education, and Training

1. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Media, Broadcasting, Video Communications, Journalism or a related field;

AND

1. One year of progressively responsible video production experience;
2. Significant and responsible experience may be substituted for part or all of the education requirement.

Licensing/Certification

1. Possess a valid driver's license.
