Position Overview: The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing and growing Dry Box, Inc.'s online presence across social media platforms. This role focuses on content creation, audience engagement, brand promotion, and analytics to enhance customer interaction and drive sales. The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven, and skilled in digital marketing strategies.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.
• Regularly create high-quality visual and video content. Coordinate with graphic designers, videographers, and external agencies for additional content.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Plan and execute paid and organic social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) to optimize strategies and improve ROI.
• Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic posting.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align social media efforts with business goals and promotional campaigns.
• Research and implement new social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep Dry Box, Inc. at the forefront of digital marketing.
• Assist in influencer outreach and partnerships to expand brand visibility.
• Monitor competitors’ social media strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their advertising tools.
• Ability to write compelling, brand-aligned copy for various audiences.
• Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

MINIMUM TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.
• Understanding of SEO and content marketing best practices.
• Proficiency in video content creation and videography.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 3 years of social media or digital marketing experience.
• Experience in the shipping container or industrial sales industry.
• Knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce.
