We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Social Media Specialist in Columbus, Ohio. The successful candidate will be tasked with the maintenance and management of social media accounts, website, and other communication platforms. The role primarily involves utilizing these platforms to enhance our brand presence, highlight job opportunities, and facilitate effective communication with our customers and team members.

Responsibilities:
• Drive brand awareness and engagement through the strategic use of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Design, implement, and oversee an annual marketing and communication plan and schedule.
• Regularly create and update social media posts to ensure active and consistent engagement.
• Develop and execute online customer and employee satisfaction surveys to gather feedback and insights.
• Take charge of updating, managing and maintaining our website to ensure it remains relevant and user-friendly.
• Prepare comprehensive project profiles and service flyers to serve as marketing materials.
• Coordinate and prepare a quarterly in-house newsletter for employees to foster internal communication.
• Utilize tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Google+ to create engaging content.
• Leverage Facebook Insights and other analytics tools to measure campaign success and inform future strategies.
• Implement best practices for blogging and advertisements to enhance overall brand awareness.
• Minimum of 4-5 years experience in a similar role as a Social Media Specialist or Communication Specialist
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva to create engaging content
• Experience in developing and managing Editorial Calendars
• Proficiency in using Facebook Insights for tracking and improving post performance
• Familiarity with Google+ and its use in social media strategy
• Proven experience in creating and managing social media advertisements
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to interpret data for strategic improvements
• Knowledge of current social media best practices
• Experience in blogging to increase brand visibility and engagement
• Proven ability to increase brand awareness through effective social media strategies.
