Summary

The Studio Support Specialist is responsible for project builds and ongoing maintenance of our studios’ gaming floor environments.

Responsibilities

Build, install and maintain the studios and associated elements (gaming tables, cameras, microphones, cabling lights, decorative elements and studio floor infrastructure). Help establish and refine build processes, plan resources, meet deadlines.

Be aware of and follow regulations (Gaming Regulations, Evolution Policies, OSHA compliance, etc.).

Request, order, maintain and be responsible for assigned equipment, tools and materials.

Participate in training activities and participate in new employees’ training.

Prepare and provide occasional reports, provide needed information to team members and other departments.

Perform other duties, as asked by the Team Lead and Manager, which are related to this position

Replace colleagues during their vacations, sick leave and other absences. Replacement takes place during the working time, and it is not considered as additional work.

Qualifications: Qualifications

Secondary (higher, technical) education or equivalent experience.

Experience using hand and power tools

Understanding of and ability to apply/interpret measurements and related tools

Experience working with assorted building materials (e.g. wood, metal, tile, plastic, carpet, etc.)

Basic understanding of electricity and electrical wiring concepts

Ability to interpret and follow detailed written and verbal instruction

Basic computer skills (e.g. email, instant messaging, MS Office or similar apps, etc.)

Punctuality, reliability and experience working with a team.

Willingness and ability to occasionally travel (within NA and abroad).

Willingness to work overtime when required and to be “on-call” for emergency situations.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Close attention to detail in adhering to standards set out by the Technical Operations team

Observation of safety principles when working around power tools and electricity (OSHA)

Participation in an on-call system to respond to (infrequent) emergency support requests

Carrying of a company-provided phone as a direct and reliable means of contact

Ability to contribute extra hours outside of regular weekly working hours in order to deliver on tight deadlines (Overtime)
