WHO we're looking for:

We are looking for a NCME Paid Media & Comm Strategy Manager who will be responsible for being at the core of how we engage with consumers. New Computing and Mobile Enhancements (NCME) covers our Tablets, Laptops, and Wearables product categories. You will be responsible for managing the strategy of paid media channels while being a cross-functional leader working across multiple teams - Product Marketing, Creative Services, social media, Site Merchandising, Performance Marketing, CRM & Retention, Data & Analytics, and more - to ensure deliverance of a best-in-class consumer experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the paid media and communications strategies that will drive customer loyalty and acquisition, increase engagement, and improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with brand and creative teams to develop and implement paid media and on- and off-site digital content strategy that drives creative innovation and improves our product storytelling through digital channels.
  • Utilize customer analysis to optimize marketing programs and improve audience development of media programs.
  • Manage reporting framework that effectively captures program performance and produces actionable run-of-business channel optimizations.
  • Distribute and present performance findings while being able to clearly and concisely communicate program and channel performance and progress against goals in a cross-functional setting.
  • Effectively manage and collaborate with external agency partners to ensure best in class agency management and integrated marketing agency execution.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic development and execution for paid marketing channels (TV, Display, Digital Video, Paid Social, OOH, etc.)
  • Develop actionable channel strategies and a strategic media plan that drives consistent and cost-effective demand initiatives with a focus on brand awareness, customer growth and improved purchase frequency of existing customers while driving scale to maintain performance targets.
  • Develop full-funnel acquisition strategies taking into consideration audience targeting and segmentation, content and messaging testing, and conversion optimization.
  • Manage paid media budget, aligned with strategic objectives, and monitoring spend and ROI based on identified KPIs.
  • Coordinate external agency, vendor and marketing technology relationships to progress overall media capabilities and marketing strategies through ongoing testing and optimization.

Required Experience and Education:
  • 7+ years of successful experience across paid media strategy and execution.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing or other related fields preferred.
  • Proven experience developing and managing comprehensive paid media strategies as well as planning for day-to-day operations.
  • Comfortable consuming large amounts of data and identifying clear opportunities enhance customer experience and grow company profitability.
  • Able to pivot strategically based on campaign and channel performance.
  • Experience coordinating with external agencies and partners.
  • Able to transform analysis into straightforward summaries for cross-functional partners.

Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
