The Manager of Technical Learning Content will play a vital role in enhancing the firm's technology capabilities through the creation, curation, and management of technology-related learning content to support training, change management, and practice enablement initiatives. The role is responsible for the execution of the overall content strategy for technology enablement at the firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of e-learning methodologies, content/learning management systems, and instructional design. Additionally, Sharepoint design and page management experience is required, as well as experience managing a team of content creators.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Strategy Development and Execution:
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to develop an overall content strategy for the firm's technology portfolio.
  • Develop content taxonomies and end-user persona profiles to tailor content to diverse internal audiences.
  • Proactively identify trends in learning and development, such as AI-generated content, and develop proposals for incorporating innovative methodologies and concepts into the firm's learning content strategy.


Content Creation and Management:
  • Develop and manage high-quality and innovative technology-related content, including video content, interactive e-learning modules, micro-learning content, Sharepoint-based content repositories, AI-generated content, and quick reference-style materials.
  • Maintain a production schedule for the content library and manage the creation and delivery of content by resources, both internal and external.
  • Work collaboratively with the Practice Enablement team as well as key stakeholders across the firm.
  • Develop and maintain self-service resources to share real-time status of content production and consumption with key stakeholders.


Audience Engagement and Feedback Analysis:
  • Track and analyze key metrics related to audience engagement and feedback and compare to industry standards. Adjust content strategy, production schedule, and content types as appropriate to improve engagement.
  • Establish documented processes to iterate on content based on user feedback, aligning with the firm's and IT department's strategic roadmaps.


Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and SMEs across the firm to ensure content supports ongoing technology training and development goals.
  • Collaborate and liaise with stakeholders across business services departments and practice services teams to ensure consistency and alignment with firm values and objectives.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline such as Communications or Education, or a minimum of five years' experience in a management role in the learning and content field.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to different audiences.
  • Proven experience in content creation, particularly in technology-related fields and e-learning environments. Experience creating technology learning content for a legal services audience is a significant advantage.
  • Strong familiarity with learning management systems and digital content platforms, including Sharepoint and Workday.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret audience engagement metrics and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Exemplary project management skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.
  • Experience managing contract production and editing resources driven by an established production schedule and documented processes. Manage external vendor resources as part of an overall strategy to deliver quality content and high-value return on investment over time.
