The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) has a new opportunity for a Vice President in our Strategic Communications department. This position will lead, develop and manage NAMIC's marketing strategy, brand and execution in collaboration with NAMIC leadership and staff.

Essential functions of the position include:
  • Develops, plans, and provides strategic direction on integrated marketing initiatives that support the organization's strategy and objectives.
  • Works with leadership to develop long-range multi-channel marketing plans for association.
  • Develops and deploys comprehensive branding strategy to enhance and increase the visibility of the association among target audiences through relevant channels.
  • Oversees the planning, coordination, and implementation of association marketing efforts including multichannel strategy and execution, publications and collateral, and targeted campaigns including market research.
    • Collaborates with internal customers and/or external partners on the design, production, and distribution of marketing materials.
    • Develops and leads management of marketing calendar.
    • Develops and maintains Association brand, brand identity, guidelines and usage.
    • Leads and develops digital and creative teams and asset management and collaborates with other areas to mine and influence content.
  • Oversees the planning, organizing, and directs NAMIC.org design, functionality, performance, and monitoring (and related media, platforms and channels).
  • Builds and maintains positive work relationships while working collaboratively with management, staff members, and external contacts.
  • Performs any other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications include:
  • 10+ years of experience in multichannel marketing, brand management, marketing communications, or related field with positions of increasing responsibility.
  • 5+ years team leadership and project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Expert knowledge of marketing, branding, and design concepts, as well as working knowledge of software and tools. (Adobe Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; HTML/CSS; Google Analytics, Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background and MVR check.
