Robb Report: VP, Live Media
The VP of Live Media for Robb Report, Art Media, and Artforum will build a portfolio of world-class consumer-facing live events while overseeing the organization and management of the Live Media division across all three brands. The role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the live event space and key financial drivers, extensive event production experience, and a deep passion for arts and culture. The ideal candidate will also be knowledgeable about the technology and marketing tools that attract both existing and new audiences. This position will oversee key areas of Live Media, including event production, marketing, content strategy, event logistics, attendee strategy, sponsorship, public relations, and community outreach.

Typical wage range: $160k - $180k + bonus. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.

This position will oversee key areas of Live Media, including event production, marketing, content strategy, event logistics, attendee strategy, sponsorship, public relations, and community outreach.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of 25+ experiences and events per year across Robb Report, Art media and Artforum, ranging from intimate member experiences to large-scale multi-day brand and editorial events.
- Develop a strategic vision and plan for Live Media team and all Robb Report and Art events.
- Proven ability in financial management of large-scale events with the ability to create revenue models and production budget outlines.
- Lead the creation of unique consumer event series and formats, ensuring alignment with brand objectives
- Oversee event production including logistics, contracts, vendors, promotion, marketing, ticketing, printed materials and technical aspects.
- Collaborate with editorial and public relations to design, develop and manage the brand's successful PR strategy in both the business and consumer press. This includes collaborating on the media mix of original research, proactive pitching and spokesperson development to achieve share of voice leadership in the industry.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to manage sponsor activations and partnerships. Experience in creating integrated and seamless brand activations is required.
- Partner with the director of programming to plan content strategy and event calendar.
- Collaborate with marketing to plan content and oversee production for weekly event marketing, includes design on consumer event promotional materials, weekly emails, print and digital advertisements, printed programs and onsite signage.
- Provide weekly reports and monthly forecasts to senior management and finance team.
- Coordinate with audience marketing to implement social media strategies to diversify the audiences on social media platforms and drive interest to RR1 membership club.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience running luxury events and experience with membership organizations is a plus.
- 10+ years of event production experience in a management role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal.
- Proven ability to implement strategic plans and drive incremental revenue
- Strong business management skills and financial acumen in event production
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, team members and events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, creative, and a self-starter.
- Strong problem-solving skills - approaches problems logically with a solution-oriented mindset and with good judgment to provide the appropriate outcome.
- Experience managing teams and developing talent.
- Exceptional design sensibility with the ability to provide clear creative direction.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote; knowledge of HTML is a plus.
- Non traditional hours that will include some nights, weekends, and travel.
