We are recruiting for a Sr. Financial Analyst in our Hillsboro, OR headquarters. Reporting to our Controller, the Sr. Financial Analyst will be a key contributor to Pinnacle's finance and accounting team and responsible for owning various processes related to financial analysis, forecasting and budgets. Key areas would include project revenues, job costing (labor, materials, subcontractors), margin analysis and inventory. In addition, the position would assist in ad-hoc projects related to the areas of financial performance, complex ERP data sets and development of system platforms and dashboards to help drive estimates, projections and decision making.

Some nuts and bolts about the job:
- Assist the CFO and Controller in weekly and monthly forecasts, annual budgeting, long-term planning and profitability analysis
- Analyze large complex financial data sets and develop ad-hoc, reporting and forecast models
- Improve and enhance reporting requirements to support the business and operations
- Lead efforts with IT in designing and testing new financial dashboards and management reporting tools
- Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Provide analysis to operations and division and department heads to improve financial metrics
- Maintain and continue to refine and improve financial, cashflow, budget, production and labor forecast models
- Provide support to establish and maintain strong business controls; add increased visibility into expense and job cost risk areas
- Provide support for the bottoms-up development of the annual sales and expense budgets, including departmental planning
- Perform essential job costing analysis; including sales budget to actual reconciliations, job cost reclasses, job labor analysis
- Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, etc.
- Design, develop and maintain ad-hoc reporting tools, including ERP query datasets and report writers
- Resolve issues and problems related to system platforms and data integrity

- 3-5 years of professional experience in finance
- 1-3 years of project costing and inventory experience
- Experience using advanced ERP systems (SAP), tables, and large data sets
- Extremely high proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of accounting and reporting standards (US GAAP)
- Extremely detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Must work well under pressure in a deadline-driven atmosphere
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally
- Familiarity with report writers and modules (JSReport, Javascript)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field
- Professional designation (CPA, CIA, CFA) or master's degree, a plus
