About the team you are joining

Joiningthe IATA Publishing team, part of the CS OCS LOB, we create information accesssolutions that help inform compliance with international legislation andstandards, whilst seeking to improve operational performance and reduce risks.

IATAStandards, Manuals & Regulations are the primary source of information forair transport standards, playing our role to help keep the industry flying.

Asthe Content Structure & Digital Delivery Senior Manager, you will analyze, improve,and optimize the processes, workflows, and systems related to the bookpublishing lifecycle. This individual will work closely with editorial,production, distribution, and sales teams to ensure efficient operations,identify opportunities for process improvements, and support data-drivendecision-making within the publishing organization.
What your day would be like
  • Identify inefficienciesand bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational enhancements,serving as the liaison between operations, editorial, production and externalvendor Innodata.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and ensure alignment on operationalpriorities and changes.
  • Lead or participate in operational projects such as system upgrades, workflowautomation, or process redesign.
  • Provide actionable insights to guide operational strategies anddecision-making.
  • Work with Innodata (ourPublishing platform provider) and IATA I&D to assess and optimizepublishing-related systems (e.g., content management, digital asset management,content distribution).
  • Provide recommendations for tool enhancements or new systems to streamlineoperations, ensuring that all operational processes adhere to industrystandards, legal regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Identify potential risks related to operations and propose solutions tomitigate them.

We would love to hear from you if you have:
  • University Degree or relevant Publishing experience.
  • 10 years of experience in operations, or project management, ideally in the publishing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with publishing systems (e.g., ERP, CMS, DAM) and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
