Job Title: Python Developer with AWS and React UI
Location: Malvern, PA (Locals Only)
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with experience in AWS and React UI development to join our team in Malvern, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, SQL, AWS architecture, and front-end development using React. This role requires at least 7 years of relevant experience, along with expertise in Agile development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain applications using Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Dash, Dask, Flask, Boto3, etc.).
- Design and fine-tune complex SQL queries for performance optimization.
- Architect and support AWS cloud-based solutions, leveraging services such as EC2, CloudWatch, ECS, SageMaker, Step Functions, Lambda, Postgres, and Aurora.
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using React UI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Ansible.
- Ensure best practices in software engineering, including object-oriented design, dependency injection, and testable code.
- Utilize software engineering tools such as PyCharm, VS Code, Git, and others.
- Write clean, maintainable code and effectively review and understand code written by others.
- Work with Fixed Income financial instruments (Preferred).
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience with Python and related libraries/frameworks.
- Strong expertise in SQL and performance tuning of queries.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and architecture.
- Proficiency in React UI development.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Ansible.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals such as object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and testable code.
- Proficiency with software development tools including PyCharm, VS Code, and Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Fixed Income experience is preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the financial services sector.
- Knowledge of additional AWS services and cloud security best practices.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
