About the Team: TikTok Music team's mission is to build resonance and inspire expression through music, which includes Music in TikTok and SoundOn. The team's mission is to inspire music discovery & promotion by serving music creators along the lifecycle of music creation, discovery, promotion, artist engagement and artist monetization.
We are looking for motivated individuals interested in complex engineering challenges around one of the most important aspects of TikTok. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers as well as SRE and Test Engineers in a high-impact and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities As a Frontend Software Engineer on the TikTok Engineering team, you will: - Work closely with our talented backend and product team to develop and ship new, innovative user features on TikTok. - Collaborate with design and product teams to create a world-class frontend UI experience. - Optimize web pages on Web/iOS/Android platforms. - Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work in a rapid environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors/experience; • Experience in Web/Cross-Platform development; • Proficiency in Javascript and React/React Native or equivalent framework.
Preferred Qualifications: • Ability to understand and debug large and complex codebases; • Good team communication and collaboration skills.
