Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer Job at Connected Systems Partners in Bedford

This Hardware Design Engineer will have a background in RF, high-speed digital and mixed-signal PCB design, with a strong understanding of the full hardware development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop RF, high-speed digital, and mixed-signal PCB solutions, from initial specification to final validation.
• Execute the complete PCB hardware design process, including specification development, block diagram creation, simulation, schematic design, layout, and engineering characterization.
• Select components to meet performance specifications, perform simulations and trade studies, and drive layout activities, preferably using Altium.
• Utilize RF circuit and PCB design tools.
• Perform RF testing using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and other RF test equipment, including calibration.

Qualifications:

• 4-10+ years of experience in RF hardware design, high-speed digital, and mixed-signal PCB development.
• Experience supporting the design and development of communication systems (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance testing and standards.
• Strong proficiency in RF circuit simulation and PCB layout tools.
• Hands-on experience with RF test and measurement equipment.
• Experience in test automation and scripting is a plus.
