About this role:

This is a unique opportunity for a driven and self-motivated individual to be a part of the SEO team for Gartner Peer Insights (GPI) and Gartner Peer Community (GPC). GPI’s mission is to transform the way enterprise software & services are bought and sold by creating the industry standard for reviews and ratings, while GPC provides a platform that enables professionals to build relationships, gain new perspectives and problem-solve with their peers to tackle their mission-critical priorities through polls, discussions, surveys, and more.

We are looking for a Sr SEO Specialist to support all SEO activities to improve visibility in organic search results for both GPI and GPC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in SEO, including on-page and technical SEO, and content strategy, and add value through executing various SEO and growth campaigns and recommendations.

The Sr SEO Specialist role involves contributing to overall SEO strategy and working collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders. What you will do:

  • Keyword Research: Perform in-depth keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
  • Technical SEO: Conduct technical SEO audits to identify issues that affect website crawling and indexing, including site architecture, page speed optimization and structured data implementation and provide solutions.
  • Content Optimization: Work with Content team to support with keyword research and lead on-page and content optimization efforts.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive research and analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse site analytics reports and performance, interpret key metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of search engine algorithms, industry trends and new SEO techniques to maintain expertise.

What you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in SEO, and proven track record of successful SEO results.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices such as SEO friendly site architecture, meta tags, robots.txt or redirection, with demonstrated knowledge through definition and application.
  • Experience working with any of the following website analytics and SEO tools, such as GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Conductor or Semrush.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to proactively assess SEO performance and identify issues and opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
  • Understanding of paid advertising is a plus.
