About the role

The Videographer is responsible for bringing our brands and products to life through the art of visual storytelling with video production, from concept to post-production. The Videographer will be responsible for covering brands and products for our suite of retail websites. They will play a crucial role in filming, editing, and producing compelling video content for social media, marketing campaigns, website, and product launches. This position requires a mix of creativity, technical skills, and a deep understanding of storytelling and branding. This position is ideal for individuals who possess a strong blend of technical skills and creativity, and who thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan, conceptualize and script creative and compelling video content that aligns with our brand and business goals.
  • Plan and execute video shoots, from location scouting to directing on-camera talent.
  • Capture high-quality video and audio footage during on-site and off-site shoots.
  • Edit video and sound materials to create polished final products that resonate with our audience
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to optimize and adapt video content for social media, web, and other platforms.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all video materials.
  • Manage video libraries and assist in the distribution strategy across various platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Ensure videos are completed on budget and on time
  • Work with the marketing team to establish project deliverables, edit schedules, and deadlines
  • Proven success with video campaigns for customer-focused and product-driven companies

Qualifications: degrees, certifications, experience, etc.

  • 3-4 years of videographer experience on a professional level
  • Bachelors degree in broadcasting, film, communications or related field
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
  • Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail
  • Adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative spirit, yet comfortable taking ownership of projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients and members of the production team
  • Knowledge of post-production techniques
  • Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for long periods
  • Proficiency with video software used for planning, editing and scripting
  • Previous experience with ecommerce brands a plus


Working Environment: list location (office, onsite, etc) as well as any physical requirements of the position

  • Full-time, Salaried position
    • $75,000 annually
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at once
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to work on-site at the Plymouth, MN location
    • This position is eligible for hybrid work
