As the Videographer/Editor, you will find, direct, produce, and execute compelling video and photo stories that inspire and mobilize audiences to engage with our organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement multimedia marketing plans aligned with organizational goals to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads. Create engaging video and photo stories focusing on how content will be distributed and utilized across platforms, ensuring maximum impact. Provide insights and recommendations on content usage strategies from a producer's perspective to optimize audience engagement with Send Relief.
- Deploy stateside and internationally as Send Relief's on-the-ground videographer and visual story producer for disaster responses, events, and feature stories, including shooting, editing, and delivering visual assets for various channels.
- Maintain a centralized video and photo content library, ensuring it remains organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible to internal users. Ingest video and photo projects from overseas teams, staff, and contractors into internal storage and online libraries.
- Ensure consistency of branding and messaging across visual assets, monitor trends and best practices, and grow Send Relief's excellence in creating and deploying visual assets for communications, public relations, marketing, and development goals.
- Optimize metadata, create custom thumbnails and graphics, write titles and descriptions using SEO tactics, and write photo cutlines for video and photo platform management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in visual content marketing, video production, photography, multimedia communications, or a related field; preferred
- At least five years of videography, editing or related experience
- Advanced skills in video and photo equipment, editing software, graphic design tools, and digital platforms
- Capable of excelling independently while thriving in collaborative team settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
- Highly creative with a passion for finding new ideas and approaches to enhance multimedia content and marketing strategies
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed with very little notice.
