You will play a key role in conceptualizing and designing marketable, trend-right artwork for balloons, giftware and home decor products. Key responsibilities also include:
- conducting research to understand company objectives, target markets, and industry trends to develop innovative and trending product designs,
- making modifications to existing artwork as suggested through peer and management critique,
- periodically traveling to domestic and international trade shows and manufacturing facilities.
Specific skills you must have:
- be well-versed with working in a variety of mediums: gouache, watercolor, acrylic, digital, etc.,
- calligraphy and hand lettering ability,
- possess broad knowledge and understanding of graphic/fine art standards; ability to create innovative, forward-thinking designs to attract customers,
- highly developed skills in both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator on a MAC platform; proficiency with digital design software,
- have a strong sense and understanding of color theory, design principles, and typography,
- ability to produce precise, accurate and vendor-ready art boards in a timely and efficient manner.
A Bachelor's degree, specifically in a creative field, is required.
