Ithaca City School District is hiring: Library Aide Part-Time in Patchogue

Building: Bay/Tremont

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for book circulation
• Creation of library cards in fall/printing of student barcodes, returns and checkouts
• Processing of new books and materials
• Book Repair
• Paperwork such as submitting purchase orders upon receipt of books/materials
• Overdue notices and billing for lost or damaged books

HOURS: 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

SALARY: $19.73 per hour

$21.34 per hour with verification of 60 college credits (official transcript is required)

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Fingerprint clearance from the NY State Department of Education (NYSED)
• Drug Screening
• Physical Examination
