JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Department: Business Development

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a full-time marketing assistant responsible for aspects of our companys design process such as advertising, digital design, illustration, branding, and social media. They will produce visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate clients through a fine balance between creativity and structure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY

  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to create overall trends and direction for product assortments and designs to promote the company
  • Design and create marketing collaterals based on requirements
  • Focus on a professional consistent outlook on company image and visibility for consumers
  • Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials
  • Collaborate with a supportive team that values creativity and initiative
  • Create resources for the Sales team for use with customers
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
  • Perform retouching and manipulation of images
  • Ensure that projects are high quality and completed on schedule
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Education

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Experience

Required:Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in marketing

Special Knowledge/ Skills

Required:

  • Portfolio of work
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Suite, Shopify, and Microsoft Office experience with videography and editing software is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent ability to work within a team as well as individually

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ HAZARDOUS WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $20.00 per hour
