As our Paid Search Media Manager, you will...

Support MERGE's practice in creating, optimizing, and executing client paid search campaigns. As a hands-on player and coach, you will provide guidance to a paid search specialist, overseeing keyword research, campaign building, client recommendations, QA processes, and regular reporting of results, insights, and optimization strategies. Bring passion, curiosity, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to mentor others to drive success in this role.

Be Accountable and Responsible
  • Lead discovery process to understand client overall and PPC goals
  • Conduct PPC audits to identify structural weaknesses and opportunities while understanding the previous team's tactics
  • Ensure analytics tracking implementation is accurate and easy to manage
  • Review current landing pages to identify opportunities
  • Develop and recommend keywords as well as optimizations and testing plans (e.g. search query reports, negative keyword maintenance, keyword overlap, testing implementation)
  • Analyze program performance and KPIs (e.g., ROAS, CTR, CPA, conversion rate)
  • Provide in-depth reporting on program performance and present insights and recommendations to clients by leading client status and reporting calls
  • Work closely with media companies including Google and Microsoft
  • Lead QA of trafficked approved plan into search engines (keywords, ad copy, extensions), and of all components prior to launch (dayparting, bids, budget, targeting parameters)
  • Actively contribute to account strategy, including annual budget development, KPIs, partner selection, new tactics, and tracking industry developments
  • Understand the current AI landscape and how it pertains to search
  • Primary contact for resolving billing discrepancies in partnership with client strategy and billing reconciliation team
  • Train paid search specialists and be a subject matter expert for media strategy teams
  • Provide POV's on the industry both internally and externally

These are the qualifications we're looking for
  • 3 to 5 years of professional paid search campaign management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, and/or equivalent work experience
  • Deep knowledge of all Google / Microsoft products (search, PMax, Demand Gen, Video, Call, etc.)
  • Healthcare and Pharma lead generation experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Ability to think critically and problem-solving orientation
  • Proficient reporting and analytical skills
  • Excellent project management and organization skills
  • Ability to work well with teams while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines

The salary range for this role is $76,000 - $91,250 based on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
