Job Description
Increasing clerical demands as a result of the introduction and subsequent implementation of the new SAP maintenance module has created a need for the addition of a clerical resource in the maintenance department. This position will fill those needs.
Compensation Range:
$28.71-$33.42 per hour
Responsibilities: Learn and understand SAP principles. Enter purchase requisitions and service entries for MRO materials in SAP. Contact vendors to track and confirm material deliveries. Maintain ISO and environmental calibration records. Manage the Maintenance Technical Library. Handle and store parts as needed. Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts. Collect maintenance data and prepare reports. Perform general clerical duties as required. Follow all safety regulations and plant procedures. Maintain a strong focus on environmental, health, and safety aspects throughout all tasks. Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a data clerk role. At least 3 years of experience or equivalent training in similar positions.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (familiarity with Microsoft Project and Visio is a plus). Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDEdwards preferred. Strong keyboarding and computer literacy skills.
Additional Requirements:
Understanding of maintenance work processes, problem-solving, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of safety regulations in a chemical operation. Familiarity with proper material handling procedures. Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of visitors.
