Manager, Technology Brand Communications Location: Remote About the Role Our client, a global FinTech, is seeking a strategic and passionate Manager of Technology Brand Communications to elevate their technology profile in the industry. In this role, you will lead the charge in shaping how customers, competitors, and investors perceive our client as a technology-first company. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that showcases our innovation, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering high-quality products. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive technology brand communications strategy that aligns with our client's overall business objectives. Define key messages and narratives that highlight our client's technology leadership and innovation. Identify target audiences and create tailored communication plans to effectively reach them. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to ensure messaging remains relevant and impactful. Establish clear success metrics and assess progress toward strategic goals. Thought Leadership Position our client as a thought leader in the technology space through compelling content, including engineering blog posts, articles, white papers, and speaking engagements. Collaborate with the CTO and other technology leaders to craft and amplify their thought leadership platforms. Secure speaking opportunities at industry events and conferences to showcase our client's field expertise. Content Creation & Management Oversee the development of high-quality content that highlights technology capabilities and achievements. Manage the production and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other communication materials. Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels. Events & Engagement Lead the planning and execution of hosted technology events, such as conferences, meetups, and hackathons. Manage the client's participation in external technology events and conferences, including sponsorships and speaking opportunities. Foster engagement with the tech community through both online and offline channels. Internal Communications Develop and execute internal communication strategies to keep employees informed about technology initiatives and achievements. Partner with HR and other internal stakeholders to promote a culture of technology innovation and collaboration. Coordinate a team of events and communications staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. 5 years of experience in brand communications, public relations, or corporate communications, in the technology sector. Proven experience developing and executing brand communication strategies. Strong understanding of media relations, thought leadership, and digital communications. Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills. Experience managing PR agencies and external partners. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives. Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Skills Knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity). Experience with event management and community engagement in the tech industry. Familiarity with digital analytics tools to measure communication impact. Strong ability to work cross-functionally with technical and creative teams. Contract Information Immediate need. 10-12 month contract. $DOE.
