Director, Customer Acquisition Marketing Our client is in the Food & Drink Sector. Job Overview Lead the company's acquisition marketing efforts to drive growth, engagement, ROI, and revenue, with a particular focus on digital channels. This role is responsible for creating, executing, and optimizing cross-channel campaigns to reach new prospects and audiences. Additionally, work closely with the Head of Partnerships to maximize acquisition opportunities from existing business partners. This role leads a team of marketing professionals and collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and scale new marketing strategies and tactics. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive acquisition marketing strategy for all brands that leverages data-driven insights to drive growth, engagement, and revenue. With a focus on digital performance marketing, develop and execute a customer acquisition plan across paid search, paid display, paid and organic social, affiliates, card-linked offers, direct mail, inserts, and other media as appropriate. Track and manage customer acquisition marketing spend to meet/exceed acquisition volume targets. Lead, motivate, and engage a team of marketing professionals and work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cross-channel campaigns. Use data and analytics to track, measure, and optimize marketing performance, making data-driven decisions to improve ROI and drive growth. Stay current on emerging digital marketing trends and technologies, and identify new opportunities for growth and engagement. Work closely with Business Partners to maximize customer acquisition opportunities. Keep track of competitor acquisition offers and propositions and adjust marketing plans to stay ahead. Collaborate with other departments, including product, creative, and data intelligence, to develop and test new marketing tactics and strategies. Test and develop trackable, measurable acquisition promotions that balance response, ROI, and long-term value, while being clear and easy to communicate and consistent with the overall brand values. Use modeling techniques to test and optimize marketing effectiveness and budget expenditure. Ensure brand integrity is maintained across the various routes to market. Represent the company at events and be a thought leader in the field of acquisition marketing, both digital and print. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners, including agencies, vendors, and media partners. Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and colleagues in the UK and Australia to share lessons and best practices. Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. Extensive customer acquisition experience working in a direct marketing environment, particularly in online and performance channels, with a track record of success in driving growth and engagement. Experience managing a large customer acquisition budget. Direct experience leading acquisition activity in a direct-to-consumer or retail organization. Proven experience leading acquisition teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing strategies. Strong understanding of data analytics, digital marketing technologies, and the ability to use data to inform decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and externally. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve common goals. Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Other days can be conducted from home or other office sites. This may change with little notice.
