Summary
The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Sales is the company's leader for the Sales and Marketing function, responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing brand visibility, developing strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role requires a strategic, results-driven executive who will oversee the development and execution of sales and marketing initiatives to accelerate business expansion and market penetration. Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand Planned Companies' service footprint across key verticals, including Schools, Healthcare, Corporate/Commercial, and Residential sectors.
- Lead the sales function to consistently exceed performance expectations for new business acquisition and revenue generation.
- Leadership & Sales Team Development
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring accountability for key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue goals.
- Implement a strong coaching culture that fosters professional growth, sales excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear performance benchmarks and track progress, taking corrective actions when necessary to ensure success.
- Strategic Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and lead generation efforts.
- Leverage digital marketing, social media, SEO, pay-per-click, and PR strategies to strengthen Planned Companies' brand presence.
- Identify and execute strategic partnerships to expand the company's market reach and competitive advantage.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders to drive long-term business partnerships.
- Conduct regular client visits, assess their needs, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Planned Companies' services.
- Represent Planned Companies at trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to promote brand visibility and build industry relationships.
- Financial & Operational Oversight
- Develop and manage the annual sales budget, forecasting revenue targets and monitoring financial performance.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client demands to adjust sales strategies as needed.
- Ensure the effective utilization of CRM tools to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and generate data-driven insights.
- Collaboration with Executive Leadership
- Partner with the Presidents and EVPs of each business unit to align sales initiatives with organizational goals.
- Provide regular sales performance updates and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
- Contribute to the overall strategic planning of the company, driving innovation and business transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing leadership, preferably in the service industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams to exceed revenue targets in a quota-driven environment.
- Strong leadership qualities with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in business development, strategic planning, and relationship management.
- Deep understanding of sales operations, customer service, and market expansion strategies.
- Bachelor's degree, Masters Degree preferred

- Regular office setting with occasional site visits to client locations.
