UX/UI Designer (Remote Contractor)

The UX/UI Designer Contractor will support the Web and SEO teams in
enhancing user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
across client websites. This role requires a deep understanding of
user behavior, site structure, and design best practices , going beyond simple content rearrangement for SEO. The designer will play a key role in analyzing existing websites, identifying UX improvements that align with SEO opportunities, and advising on
landing page design and full-site optimization strategies .
Requirements
As a UX/UI Designer, you will...
Analyze
existing websites
to identify
user experience issues
and
SEO opportunities , prioritizing updates based on data-driven insights. Provide
strategic guidance
on landing page design and site layouts to improve
conversion rates and user engagement . Collaborate with
SEO, Content, and Web teams
to ensure design changes support both
user experience and search visibility . Work with designers like
Mallory and Maddie
to enhance their UX expertise and improve overall design consistency. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to
optimize site structure and navigation . Ensure best practices in
mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and site speed . Offer
expert recommendations
on UX/UI improvements that drive
measurable business results . Requirements 3+ years of experience
in UX/UI design, with a portfolio demonstrating
successful website optimizations and CRO improvements . Strong background in
user experience research, usability testing, and behavior analysis . Experience using
heatmaps, session recordings, and analytics tools
to drive design decisions. Proficiency in
Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools . Familiarity with
SEO principles
and how UX impacts search rankings and conversions. Ability to work independently, providing
strategic insights and design recommendations
to improve site performance. Nice to Have Experience working with
SEO teams
to align UX improvements with search performance goals. Knowledge of
CRO tools like Google Optimize, Hotjar, or A/B testing platforms . Familiarity with
Webflow, WordPress, or Shopify site structures . Ability to train and mentor designers on
